Dr. Giselle graduated with departmental honors in biochemistry from the University of Miami and has a master’s in Business Administration from the University of Florida. She received her medical degree from the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University, after which she completed a residency in Jacksonville, FL with a heavy emphasis on surgical procedures, emergency room, and dermatology. Dr. Giselle is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Society of Liposuction Surgery.
Dr. Giselle has been published extensively in the medical literature in the fields of Plastic Surgery and Dermatology. Her research has appeared in journals such as JAMA Dermatology, Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, Skin Therapy Letters, Cutis, Journal of Drugs in Dermatology, SKIN The Journal of Cutaneous Medicine, and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Global Open. Dr. Giselle has also written several book chapters including “Aesthetic Procedures for Increasing Lip Volume” and “Autologous Fat Transfer to Buttocks.” She has presented her research at medical conferences such as the Orlando Dermatology Clinical & Aesthetic Conference, the American Academy of Dermatology Annual Meeting, and the Florida Medical Association Annual Meeting.

Dr. Tarik received his medical degree from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He then completed an Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Tripler Army Medical Center. After completion of his orthopedic surgery training, Dr. Tarik was stationed in Korea and Germany as a United States Army Orthopaedic Surgeon. After thirteen years of dedicated service in the United States Army, he decided to pursue another residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Miami. He completed his Plastic/Aesthetic surgery residency successfully and continues to have a great relationship with the university. He gives lectures on Plastic Surgery topics to residents and sponsors journal clubs for the University of Miami Plastic Surgery residency.
After graduating from his plastic surgery residency, he went on to complete a hand/microsurgery fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, TX, which has been ranked the top plastic surgery training program in the country. During this time he worked under Dr. Rod Rohrich, who is the editor and chief for the top plastic surgery journal in the world (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Journal).
During his time at UTSW, he also refined his aesthetic surgery techniques while working with some of the country’s top aesthetic surgeons. He has won first place in multiple research competitions and has presented his studies at national academy meetings.
Dr. Tarik is board certified in Plastic surgery, in addition to being board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery, and subspecialty certified in Sports Medicine and Hand Surgery. He has written several book chapters and has many published studies. Dr. Tarik is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
